Aaron E. Kidder, Technology Director, CEO - Kidder & Associates, Inc., Lodi, CA

For nearly 30 years, Aaron E. Kidder has been consulting, creating, and managing business systems applications and systems development. He specializes in the food and wine processing industries.

Kidder is President/CEO of Kidder & Associates, Inc. Lodi, California whose clients include E. & J. Gallo Winery, Robert Mondavi Winery, ConAgra Foods, Inc., Dole Food Company, Inc., Foster Farms, and Save Mart Supermarkets, Inc.

Kidder is a home winemaker and has made wine at home for more than five years. He also grows 8 acres of varietal grapes including primarily Syrah, but also has test blocks of Petite Sirah, Graciano, Tempranillo and Viognier located in the Clements Hills area of Lodi. Kidder prefers selling his crop to smaller wineries which give him “greater opportunity to work directly with the winemaker.” He is a founding member and past President of the Lodi Amateur Vintners Association.

Kidder has chaired the San Joaquin Fair Home Wine competition from 2003 through 2006 and developed the software applications for that event. More recently, he was one of the primary event coordinators for the California State Fair Home Wine competition. As the acting “Computer Captain” for this event, he also developed all the wine scoring application software.

As Technology Director for the Lodi International Wine Awards, he is responsible for all application development including the scoring software, and post event consumer access for all data collected.
