Keith I. Marton, MD, Senior VP, Chief Medical and Quality Officer, Providence Health and Services.

 

Keith I. Marton, MD, joined Providence in his present position in January 2007.

 

Dr. Marton's previous experience includes Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Office of Legacy Health System, Vice President, Catholic Healthcare West, St. Mary's Medical Center, San Francisco, California, 1993-98; Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of California San Francisco, San Francisco, California, 1995-Present;

 

Dr. Marton has served as a full-time faculty member at Stanford and Harvard Medical Schools. After graduating from Stanford Medical School, Dr. Marton completed two years of post-graduate training at Yale-New Have Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut, and returned to Stanford as a senior resident in medicine. He was also a fellow in the Robert Wood Johnson clinical scholars program.

 

Dr. Marton has been an avid winemaker and collector for 25 years and has lectured extensively on the health effects of moderate wine consumption. He has judged wine professionally for nearly 15 years and is a candidate for the Master of Wine degree.
